So many wonderful memories of our family gatherings. Love you so much. You will be so missed!

I had the best mother in law ever. She was so kind, so welcoming. Gerry always dressed so classy and loved the pretty little knick knacks like I do. We had good times shopping antique stores together. She also enjoyed getting away on the weekends with Dan and I at the wineries. I will dearly miss her and am so grateful she has peace now.

Aunt Geri you will be missed by all you came in contact with, your style and grace will never be forgotten. You are now with your parents and all of your sisters and brother, heaven just got brighter with your smile and sweet disposition. And for all of the family this poem is one I think of when I lost my mother, I hope it will comfort you as the days pass and you look back on a wonderful Mother

Mom (Gerry) was loved by many. She loved having company. She loved life and enjoyed doing things with family and friends. Most of all, mom loved the Lord. She loved listening to gospel songs and watching Christian programs. When she was healthier she attended church regularly. As her COPD got worse she didn't get to go as often but I found some local churches that broadcast live on Sundays. Sometimes, when she couldn't go to church she would watch on

She donated to several missions and when she attended Harvester Christian Church she also helped pack the bags of food for the food pantry. She loved being with people. If someone said they liked something, if she could afford to, she bought it for them. She always tried to mail a card or some type of acknowledgement to all her family and friends for birthdays or other holidays. To know her, was to know someone who walked the Christian life. She was someone who served everyone. We use to tease her that she never sat down and visited with us on holidays because she was trying to keep everyone fed and comfortable. She made no judgements of anyone, she just had a kind word, a sweet smile and a little joke. Such a gift to the world she was. Thank the Lord for her life of love, service, giving and forgiveness. She always forgave anyone who wronged her at some time in her life and that forgiveness included me. Dear Lord, I could only hope to aspire to be like her with such a forgiving spirit. What a kind and gentle lady she was. Thank you Lord, for allowing me to take care of her over the last year or so. Thank you Jesus, for letting me be of service to her medical needs during her final months. I know mom, that you are with your parents, your loving husband, all your sisters and all the the loved ones that went before you. You at last, are suffering no more. Rejoice, open the pearly gates, a great servant of Christ has arrived. Thank you Jesus for your perfect life and complete sacrifice that brings us home to you.
