Rev. Glen Lee Green, 74, of Pineville, went peacefully to meet his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 22, 2012, at his residence following a long illness.
Born June 13, 1938, at Pineville, he was the son of the late Oscar Austin and Rachel Jane Tilley Green.

Having been a pastor for over 40 years, Glen served the congregations at the Black Eagle Baptist Church, Brooksville Baptist Church, Enon Baptist Church, New Prospect Baptist Church, Mud River Baptist Church, Lacoma Baptist Church, Welch First Baptist Church and Saulsville Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading, preaching and teaching to his church families and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eric Lee Green and a brother, Darrell Austin Green.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sue McGraw Green; a daughter, Renee Brumfield of Pineville; a son-in-law, Jack Brumfield of NorthCarolina; two grandsons, Jeremy Brumfield and his wife, Cynthia, and Jason Brumfield and his wife, Linda; and three great-grandchildren, Bradley Holt and Brandon and Abigail Brumfield.
A special thank you to Hospice of Southern West Virginia home-side nursing for their care.
