Gregory "Greg" Owen McKinney, age 56, of McDonough, GA passed away January 4, 2013. Greg was born in Fulton County. Greg enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, computers, and his dog "Hurley". He was a member of McDonough Christian Church. He served his country in the US Army. Survivors are his wife, Janice McKinney of McDonough; children, Ben McKinney of Orlando and Courtney McKinney of McDonough; grandson, Ben McKinney; father, Ben McKinney of Loganville; siblings, Doug, Mike, Gail, Mary, Carrie, Richard & Suzanne; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Polk. Funeral service for Greg will be Monday, January 7, 2013 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Leslie officiating. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM.
