DeGREGORIO, Guido Age 98, passed away July 31, 2012 in Lancaster, California. He was born October 10, 1913 in Greci, Avellino, Italy, and lived in Ohio most of his life until 1995 when he moved to Lancaster, California. He has lived in the Antelope Valley for the last 17 years. Guido was a member of Lake P'na Sportsman Club and the Cleveland Bakers & Teamsters Union. He served his country in the Army during WWII and was awarded a Purple Heart. He retired from Frito Lay in 1975 after approximately 40 yrs. of service. He is survived by one son and two daughters: Ron DeGregorio and his wife Virginia of Anacortes, Washington, Bernice van Engelen and her husband Chris of Agua Dulce, California, Cathy Garcia and her husband Joel of Lancaster, California; three grandchildren: Maggie Ryder, Joel Garcia, Jr., and Chris Garcia; four great-grandchildren: Lincoln and Jack Ryder, Sebastian Garcia, and Holliston McKenzie. Guido was preceded in death by his wife Maria Gertrude and his son John. A Chapel Service will be held at 4:00pm Saturday August 11, 2012 with a visitation starting at 3:00pm at Halley Olsen Murphy, Lancaster Chapel.
