Heinrich Taube, 90, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at his Minocqua home June 4, 2012. He was born in Germany on July 17, 1921. In 1952, he came to America with his wife and daughter, to begin a new life and build a home in Chicago. He worked construction and was passionate about using his skills to better the lives of people around him. Heinz was always willing and ready to help anyone in need. He enjoyed entertaining, and he loved baking and playing ping-pong. After his daughter moved to Minocqua in 1976, Heinz and his wife visited regularly, always enjoying everything the Northwoods had to offer. He and his wife of 63 years moved to Minocqua permanently in 2010. He spent his last years admiring the tall Pine trees, hummingbirds, the beauty of his surroundings, and spending time with his family. Heinrich is survived by his wife, Elfriede Taube; daughter, Heike Taube; grandson, Jonathan Pace and granddaughter, Joanna Pace. A private family memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to a charity of your choice.
