Iverson A. "Butch" Schenk, 68 years old of Kentwood, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012, at North Oaks Medical Center.
He was born on Wednesday, December 29, 1943, in New Orleans.
Mr. Schenk served in the United States Air Force.
Surviving are his sister, Eva Kiefer; grandniece, Heather Baham; great-grandnieces and nephews, Makayla, Trinity, Selene, and Micheal Baham; and numerous cousins and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eva Forbes and Alton Schenk; nephew, Luther Baham Sr.; and great-nephew, Luther Baham Jr..
Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, Friday, July 27, 2012, from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm and Saturday, from 8:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in the Bankston Cemetery 4th Ward.
