Jack Cornelius Camhout Jr. passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the age of 84. Husband of the late Bernice Beverly Camhout. He is survived by his children Ellen Gabel, James Camhout and Pamela Roshto; his grandchildren Jacques Camhout, Nicole Camhout and Chantelle Daigre; his great granddaughter Marigny Christ.
Jack was a long time resident of St. Bernard parish where he was actively involved in The St. Bernard Jubilees and the carnival krewe of Aphrodite. He was a transplant to St. Tammany parish after Hurricane Katrina and was involved in a number of Senior Citizens' clubs in the area.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, July 23, 2012 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens with full military honors. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Harmony Hospice, Mandeville, LA.
