Jackie Lee Risinger, 55, of the Mt. Olive Community, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at his home.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11th, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Vanderwilt officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Jackie, the son of Bobby & Pattie Ramsey Risinger, was born June 1, 1957, in Paris. He graduated from North Lamar High School. Jackie was a carpenter and home builder for a number of years before beginning work in maintenance at Christus-St. Joseph's Hospital in Paris for ten years. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting & fishing.

His mother and his grandparents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Risinger, his father, Bobby Risinger, one son, Josh Risinger & wife Morgan of Reno, one daughter, Kelli Risinger of Paris, two step-sons, Randy Gillen & wife Pam of Paris and Rodney Gillen & wife Krista of Little Elm, one brother, Johnny Risinger & wife Sherry of Reno, four grandsons, Jaxon Risinger, Brayden Risinger, Zachary Gillen and Brandon Gillen, two granddaughters, Ashley Gillen and Alyssa Gillen, one niece, Mallory Holladay & husband Tim along with a host of friends.

Casket bearers will be: Kenny Risinger, Billy McCleskey, David Woods, Neil Barnes, Mark Bates and Don Crawford. Honorary bearers will be: T. J. Hudson, Zachary Gillen and Brandon Gillen.
