Jeanne Cassens Chesnut, 81, passed away 7/12/12 at home in Tampa Florida
She is now with her father, mother and brother in Heaven with no suffering or pain.
She was born in Ft Pierce, Florida and is survived by her husband of 59 years; Arthur C Chesnut Sr. She is predeceased by her father Rudy, mother Marian and brother Dale. She is survived by her Brothers, Don of Conyers Georgia and Jerry of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She is also survived by her sons Artie of Tampa, Stanley of Taylorsville, Kentucky and daughter Cindy Hart of Largo. Jeanne has 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She graduated from Ft Pierce High and continued her education at Florida State University graduating in 1952 with a BS in Business. While there, she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. After raising her children, she went to University of Tampa and University of South Florida to earn her education courses. She taught at Dale Mabry Elementary for 24 years. Jeanne delivered Meals on Wheels for many years after retirement. She has been an active member of Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church for 40 years.
Jeanne will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Gainesville Florida with a service for family members only.
