Jeannine B. Thimm, 63, Merrill, died Monday, July 4, 2011 at Pine Crest Nursing Home. Jeannine was born November 9, 1947 in Neillsville, the daughter of the late Robert and JoAnn (Staffon) Lynch. Jeannine graduated Neillsville High School, and then attended vocational school for 2 years in Eau Claire. After her schooling Jeannine worked for the F.B.I. for a year. She and Ronald Thimm were united in marriage May 4, 1968 in Neillsville. Jeannine was able to stay at home while her children were young and raise her family, and most recently worked at Church Mutual Insurance Company in Information Services. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Jeannine enjoyed gardening, watching her daughter play softball and visiting Jamaica for the past six years with Michelle. Survivors include: husband: Ron Thimm, Merrill, Daughter: Michelle Thimm, Merrill, Son: Scott (Tami) Thimm, Ashland, 2 grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Jordan, Brother: Duane (Joan) Lynch , Montello, She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and JoAnn Lynch. Funeral service will be 11am Friday, July 8, at Trinity Lutheran Church . The Rev. R. Brian Stolarczyk will officiate with burial to follow at Merrill Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, at Waid Funeral Home 4 pm – 8 pm, and again Friday morning at 10 am until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Aspirus Cancer Center in Wausau, or Trinity Lutheran Church. The Waid Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
