While growing up Joan lived with our family and I grew up wanting to be just like her. With two brothers in the house I really needed a Sister and so she became, we used to cuddle in her room and she'd tell me stories about (things Mom and Dad would'nt have liked) but it was exciting to me.

Joan left our home to go on and live her own life, and it was hard on her but she always pulled through. She has always been there for our family aas well, when my father passed, she could'nt afford to come, but she was there.

I will always remember Joan as my sister, she'd never hurt a fly. She was honest and kind and I know she's up in heaven causing all kinds of trouble.

Joan was very much a part of my entire life, in the past several years has blessed my family with her wit, friendship and the love of other people. She was always part of the Dick and Barb Bourgerie household and now in Indiana Part of the Michael and Debbi Bourgerie household. She is a dear friend gives of herself and never asks in return.
