Lionel A. Rose, 83, a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 8 months, departed this life Wednesday, August 8th, 2012.
Mr. Rose was born in St. James, Jamaica and moved to Port Saint Lucie from Miami, FL.
Mr. Rose is survived by his wife of 44 years, Novlet Z. Rose; sons, Anthony Rose, of St. James, Jamaica, and Balfour Richards, of Elmont, NY; daughters, Delores Chung, of St. James, Jamaica, and Camille Rose, of Alexandria, VA; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, William Rose of London, England, and Victor Rose, of Manhattan, NY; and sisters, Maud Rose, of Miami, FL, and Kathleen Rose, of Englewood, NJ.
Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, August 18th, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes – Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel in Port Saint Lucie. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Sunday, August 19th, at All Villages Presbyterian Church in Port Saint Lucie.
