Lisa Dawn Navarro, age 54 of El Cajon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 24, 2012. Lisa was born March 19, 1958, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the daughter of Roy D. Brown and Barbara Ann Twogood.

In 1981, Lisa married the love of her life John K. Navarro. Lisa thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings and the outdoors.

Family and friends were Lisa's passion and delight. She loved to cook, host and entertain family and friends at her house. She especially enjoyed her morning walks with her two pugs, Hercules and Cali which she referred to as her "babies".

Lisa is survived by her two sons Joshua and Joseph; her sister, Samera; and brothers Richard and Steven. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

Lisa's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
