COLUMBIA - Graveside service for Louie L. Harrison Jr., 75, will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Memorial Gardens of Columbia, (Hwy 21 North), 9301 Wilson Blvd. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
Mr. Harrison died Thursday, January 10, 2013. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Louie L. and Bessie Alberta Smith Harrison. Mr. Harrison was an avid hunter and a member of Goff Swamp Hunting Club. He was self-employed and owner of Double L Contracting Company. Mr. Harrison was a member of the Dentsville Masonic Lodge #398 and a Shriner at the Jamil Temple.
Surviving are son, Louie L. (Allison) Harrison III of Columbia; daughter, Sherri (Todd) Jeffers of Elgin; grandchildren, Jodi, Katie, and Shelley Jeffers and Katie Harrison.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Cynthlu Williamson Harrison and brother, John M. Harrison.
