Lucinda H. Kleinschmidt

Lucinda H. Kleinschmidt, 80, of Merrill, passed away Friday September 23, 2011 at Wausau Aspirus Hospital. She was born September 16, 1931 in Sharon, the daughter of the late Louis and Hattie (Carvey) Marnholtz Sr. Lucinda married Douglas W. Kleinschmidt April 7, 1951 in Merrill. He preceded her in death December 16, 2005. Lucinda was a homemaker all of her life. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill. Lucinda enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. She is survived by 3 sons; Dennis (Bea) of Merrill, Jerome (Amy) of Gleason and Robert (Anna) of Greenwood, AR. 5 daughters; Joy (Arliss Munro) Holz of Merrill , Terry Denfeld of Gleason, Diane (Rueben) Grund, Debbie Konkol both of Merrill , and Tina (Rick Handke) Beyer of Jefferson. 2 sisters; Ida Gibert of Milwaukee and Esther Jackson of Jackson, 2 brothers; Gordon Marnholtz of Tomahawk and Earl of California. 2 sisters-in-law, Hazel Marnholtz and Leila Marnholz of Merrill. 2 brothers-in-law, Wayne Kleinschmidt of Kolowna, BC, Canada and John Harder of Merrill. 17 Grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Lucinda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Doug, a son, Bruce, a great-grandson, Matthew Prueser, 2 sisters, Pauline Harder and Dorothy Huebner and 3 brothers; Donald, Lyle and Louis Marnholtz Jr. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Merrill. The Rev Scott Gustafson will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Wednesday at the Waid Funeral Home and again on Thursday from 10AM to 11AM at the church.
