Makenna Rebecca Marie Hehling, age 17, of Merrill, Wisconsin, died Monday, November 28, 2011 at her home. Makenna was born July 22, 1994 in Merrill, Wisconsin, the daughter of Rebecca Hehling and Ronald Schumacher. She was a senior at Merrill Senior High School. Makenna was a member of the Hype Youth Group at Merrill Bible Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, basketball and spending time outdoors. She loved kids and enjoyed hanging out with her brother, sisters and cousins. She had a huge heart and was a good listener to her friends. She had a charming personality and would go out of her way to help others. She truly enjoyed music and spending time playing cards and games with her family and friends. Makenna is survived by her mother, Rebecca (Bill Morgan) Hehling of Merrill; 2 sisters, Alysha & Janessa; 1 brother, Kieran of Merrill; step-brother and step-sister, Ryan & Rayanne Morgan of Arizona; grandfather, Tom Young of Merrill; uncles and aunts, Jack and Lori Hehling, Kim and Tim Nowak, Bill & Sherri Gronke, Jerry & Monika Schumacher and Emil Schumacher; and cousins, Robert and Teddy Hehling and Jayda, Elizabeth and T. J. Nowak. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Bonnie Hehling-Young; grandfather, Robert Hehling; great-grandmother, Margaret Severt; and great grandfather, Walter Severt. Funeral services will be Friday, December 2, 2011 at 12:00 PM at the Waid Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dave Bondeson will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 until noon on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to her family. The Waid Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
