Mary A. Kloss, 80, of Merrill, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Bell Tower Residence. Mary was born December 4, 1930 the daughter of the late James and Agnes (Hansen) Shape. Mary and Raymond F. Kloss were united in marriage July 8, 1950 at St. Stephens United Church of Christ in Merrill. Raymond preceded her in death, July 20, 2001. She had worked for the Foto News, and taught Bible School. Mary enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, traveling, lunch with friends, spending time with family, especially great grandchildren, gambling, going on road trips, and picnicking at the Council Grounds State Park . Mary was a Green Bay Packers fan. Survivors include: sons: Kelly (Cheryl) Kloss, River Falls, Scott (Karla) Kloss, Merrill; grandchildren: Molly Kloss, And Lindsay Kloss, both of River Falls, Becky Welch, Rebecca Dorgan and Kyle Anderson all of Merrill, And Todd Mohr of Eagle River, Great grandchildren: Jayda, Ivy, Chelsey, Braden, Jacob, Damien, Courtney, Kassidy, Kyle, Hailey and Kylee. Sister-in-law: Shirley Kloss, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, and 3 brothers: Lodie, Loren and Phillip. Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, August 5, at St. Stephens United Church of Christ. Pastor Missy Holdorf will officiate, with burial to follow at Merrill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 pm, Thursday, August 4, at Waid Funeral Home and again Friday from 10am until the time of service at the church.
