Mary H Lee was born on June 28, 1922 in Beaverdam Virginia. She had two loving parents Joe Hall and Annie Hall. She graduated from Beaverdam high school in 1942. After graduating she moved to Richmond, Virginia where she first got a job at Capital square as a waitress. While working one day she met her Husband James E. Lee sr. A year after falling in love they got married. She gave birth to her son Jimmy and then two years later she gave birth to her daughter Janice. Later on she started working as a factory worker in A&P Bakery. She is a grandmother to 3 boys Lewis Lee, James Lee III & Joesph Wright Jr. She has many sister and brothers as well as nieces and nephews. She retired from Nabisco and Kraft Foods in 1982. She lived out her retirement in Chesterfield, VA where she made many friends. She lived with her grandson (Lewis). Mary Lee enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, playing cards, yahtzee, and watching TV. She passed away on August 1, 2012 of Heart trouble and diabetes.
In her last years Mrs. Lee was taken care of by her grandson Lewis Lee and great neice Ashley Herndon
She also enjoyed time with daughter in law Toby Lee and Niece Carolyn Baker.
Mary had 3 great grandchildren Kayla Wright, Ryan Wright & Ben Wright. She also loved dearly 2 great nieces Melanie Herndon and Isabella Garcia.
She will greatly missed by her grandson J Lewis Lee. That will miss and love her always.
Family will be having her service in the fall of 2012.
