MaryAnn C. (Osmanski) Falk, 69, of Merrill, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. MaryAnn was born September 11, 1941 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Joseph and Effie (Gerbyshak) Osmanski. She and Oscar Falk were united in marriage June 25, 1960 in Crivitz. MaryAnn and Oscar just celebrated 51 years of marriage. MaryAnn graduated from Milwaukee High School. She was a homemaker for many years and was able to raise her family, she then worked at KFC and then she was a parent coordinator, working with the Head Start program for 23 years until her retirement. MaryAnn truly enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, collecting recipes, cooking, reading, and listening to music. MaryAnn loved her family, her job working with Head Start families and cats. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Survivors include: husband: Oscar John Falk Jr.; Merrill, Daughter: Karen (Chris) Streich; Gleason, Son: Andy (Briana) Falk; Waconia, MN, 3 grandchildren: Amanda Becker, Melissa Becker, and Michael Streich, Nephews and nieces: Terrance (Kim) Osmanski, Venecia (James) Allgood, Charles (Kris) Voelker, Pamela (Mohamed) Vatandoust, Great niece: Shyla Osmanski, She was preceded in death by: her parents and brother Joseph Osmanski Funeral service will be 10 am Friday, July 15, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Merrill. Fr. Joseph Kleinheiz will officiate, burial will be at 1:30 pm at St. Mary's Cemetery in Crivitz. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Thursday at the Waid Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society. Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.waidfuneral.com
