Michelle Renee Allen (24) resident of St. Maries, ID died suddenly January 18, 2012 at her home from complications due to her Epilepsy disorder. She was born March 12, 1987 to Jeffrey and Deanne (Kolar) Allen at St. Maries. Michelle grew up between Plummer, ID and Spokane, WA. She graduated from University High School with the class of 2005. Following graduation, she returned to Plummer. She went to work for the Early Childhood Learning Center program at Plummer where she developed an interest in caring for children. This interest evolved into her career as a Nanny where she held positions in that field in Dallas, TX, New York and Virginia. She returned to Plummer in 2009. Michelle had worked for the Gateway Cafe and was employed in the Courtesy Room as an attendant at the Coeur d' Alene Tribal Casino at the time of her death. Michelle enjoyed listening to Country Music, scrapbooking, caring for children and attending family get-togethers. She also enjoyed 4-wheeling She is survived by her mother Deanne and step-father Barry Mellen of Spokane Valley, WA and her father Jeffrey and step-mother Dee Allen of Plummer. Also surviving are her grandparents John and Kathy Kolar and Nancy Allen all of Plummer. She is also survived by sisters Nikki Allen of Worley, Brittany Allen of Spokane, WA and Rachael Allen of Post Falls, ID as well as two neices. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Life Fellowship Church 1057 C Street , Plummer with Pastor Brian Primer officiating..Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Plummer, ID with a gathering of family and friends to follow at the Coeur d' Alene Tribal Wellness Center 1100 A Street, Plummer.
