Nancee Lee Sullivan, 63, Merrill, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at her home under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born October 23, 1947 in Merrill to Howard and Sylvia (Scheu) Madson. She married Daniel Sullivan on October 3, 1970 in Merrill. Nancee was a 1965 graduate of Watersmeet High School, Watersmeet, MI. She attended College in St. Louis, MO. Nancee worked at Pine Crest Nursing Home for many years in the payroll department. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. Nancee was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Merrill. She is survived by her husband, Dan Sullivan, Merrill; father, Howard 'Jim' Madson, Watersmeet, MI; children, Jason Sullivan, Kenosha, Jami (Christopher) Mustacci, Madison, and Ryan Sullivan, Oshkosh; three sisters, Kay (Siegfried) Lenk, Wausau, Linda Madson, Rapid River, MI, and Ellen (John) Sjogren, Gladstone, MI; two grandchildren, Adrian and Dominic Mustacci; Special friend, Patsy Neumann and many nieces and nephews. Mass of the resurrection will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Fr. Mike McLain will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM Tuesday, August 2, 2011 and again from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Wednesday before the service all at Waid Funeral Home. The family requests donations be made to Aspirus Hospice or for Breast Cancer Research. The family would also like to thank Dr. Rezazadeh and his staff, Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice and St. Francis Parish Nurse, Kathy Graham for their compassionate care and friendship during Nancee's illness.Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
