Norma B. Vetter 95, Rothschild died Friday July 6, 2012 at her home. She was born August 4, 1916 in the town of Auburndale, daughter of the late Joseph and Edna (Wachtl) Baur. On September 1, 1941 she married Fred Vetter at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Halder. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2007. Norma enjoyed fishing, hiking, gardening and many crafts as well as playing cards. She was a founding member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild belonging to the St. Bernadette Circle of the Ladies Council and the Rothschild Garden Club. She was employed at Marathon Battery Company and was a Rothschild School Patrol and also volunteered at St. Mark's Parish for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara (Bashir) Master, Wayne, New Jersey and Sister Elizabeth "Betty" Vetter S.D.S., Rothschild and one son Gerald "Jerry" (Debra) Vetter, Mandan, North Dakota, and her grandchildren, Maria (Scott) Master M.D. Esq., Tara (Zachary) Master Hunter M.D., Yousef (Sara) Master M.D., Benjamin Master., Sara Master, Amy Vetter, Kenneth Vetter and Christopher Vetter, her great grandchildren, Kalista Vetter, Ava Vetter and Arianne Hunter, Mereille and Keaton Hunter and Xavier and Kai Master. Norma is further survived by two sisters, Lorraine Genett, Rothschild and Dolores Drake, Security, Colorado and one brother, Joseph (Edy) Baur, Bluffton, Indiana. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Beatrice, Elaine, Frances, Marie, Owen, Joseph Leo, Edmund, Ronald and Franklin. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday July 9, 2012 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. The Rev. Allan L. Slowiak will preside. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
