Pamela Russell, 50, of Lawson, Missouri, died August 3, 2012. She was a 1979 graduate of Liberty High School and recently completed her Associate Degree. She was in pursuit of her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and wanted to be a therapist. Pamela had worked for over 20 years in the insurance business and was involved in customer service. She went out of her way to help others. Pamela was an avid animal lover, who enjoyed music, horseback riding, reading, and was a Chiefs fan. She especially enjoyed Gary Allan music, was a huge fan and was able to meet him during a concert. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Daisy Russell. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Gene & Janice Russell of Liberty, Missouri, and sister and brother-in-law, Christina & Mike McQuinn of Turney, Missouri; two nephews, a niece, two great nephews, many, many friends, and her beloved animals. The family suggest in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Chain of Hope, P.O. Box 16926, Suite #1, Kansas City, Mo. 64133, or the American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, Mo. 64105, or the NorthCare Hospice, 2900 Clay Edwards Drive, North Kansas City, Mo. 64116.
