Patrick D. "Pat" Kelley passed away at Saints Medical Center in Lowell, on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. He was 70 years of age. Pat was born in Boston on September 30, 1941 to the late Donald & Catherine (Coakley) Kelley, he was raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Boston College, Class of 1963 and attended Babson College. Mr. Kelley lived in Melrose for many years before moving to Chelmsford and then Tewksbury for the past several years. He was a self employed insurance investigator who owned Eagle Adjustment Service in Chelmsford for many years. Pat was a talented saxophonist and musician who in his younger years played professionally in a Jazz band and on the radio. Mr. Kelley also played the clarinet & the guitar and attended the Boston Conservatory for Music. He enjoyed photography, recently developed a new passion for writing short stories and was hoping to get the stories published. Pat loved his trips to Bermuda, hiking and climbing in the White Mountains but most of all he was a "family man" who cherished the times spent with his wife June, daughter Linda, granddaughter Veronica and all his extended family. Mr. Kelley was the beloved husband of June L. (Patterson) Kelley. Loving father of Linda Catherine Kelley-Consaul & her husband Attorney Scott Consaul of Tewksbury. Proud grandfather of Veronica Kelley Consaul of Tewksbury. Brother-in-law of Edmund Patterson & his wife Charlotte, Linda Patterson-Hathaway & her husband Bill and Brian Patterson & his wife Brenda all of NH. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster Melrose, on Tuesday, July 17th at 8:45AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham, at 10AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4:00-8:00PM. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. Memorial contributions may be made to Autism Society, 4340 East West Hwy Suite 350
