Phyllis Ann Sizemore Cline, 71, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Born May 6, 1941, in Saulsville, she was the daughter of the late John and Irene Tilley Sizemore.
Phyllis was a graduate of Oceana High School class of 1959 and was a member of the Oceana Alumni Association, and had also been inducted into the Oceana High School Hall of Fame. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Marshall University and her Master's Degree from WVU. She was a retired elementary school teacher from the Raleigh County School System, with 34 years of service. She taught first grade at Mt. View and Fairdale Elementary Schools.

Mrs. Cline was passionate about educating every child she taught and loved each one equally. She lovingly guided each of her three daughters to achieve their best and achieve the same with their own children. Mrs. Cline will be sadly missed by the many children she guided in her classroom.
She loved reading, spending time with her grandchildren and vacationing with her sisters. She attended Matheny United Methodist Church. She was the matriarch of her family and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of fifty years, James Cline; children, Anita Cline Boothe and husband, Samuel G. of Fairdale, Cynthia Cline Bower and husband, Timothy of Fairdale and Karen Cline Sigmon and husband, Jim of Glen Fork.
