Ray “Butch” Flint
Ray “Butch” Flint 68 of Sophia passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009. Born December 17, 1940, he is the son of the late Basil Ray and Mary Evelyn Rose Flint.
Butch enjoyed hunting and fishing. Butch worked for a vault co. in manufacturing and setting vaults. He also worked for a coal company.
In addition to his parents, Butch is preceded in death by his nephew Scooter Flint.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Jane Marie Flint of Sophia; son Ray Granvel Flint, Jr. of Sophia; sisters Cookie Vance of KY and Janie Kincaid and husband Lee of Layland; brothers Lloyd Flint and wife Diane of Layland, Buddy Flint and wife Janet of Layland, Buster Flint and wife Denise of Layland, Junior Flint and wife Violet of Oak Hill and several nieces, nephews and friends.
In keeping with his personal wishes, there will be no services.
