Roberta Alice “Bobby” (Hurd) Drum, passed away Sunday July 3, 2011, at the age of 83 years. Beloved mother of Jerimiah (Jan) Drum Jr., Denise and Kenneth (Corinne) Drum. Dear sister of Duane (Grace) Hurd, the late Mary Agnes Quist (Hurd) and Helen Luckhart (Hurd). Cherished grandmother to Jessica, Steven, Jeremiah and Katrina Drum. Also survived by loving nieces Beverly, Lana, 8 great-grandchildren and many dear friends. Bobby was a proud retiree of Lincoln Hills School and 30 years of State service. She spent her retirement years very active in her church, the Merrill Historical Society, Habitat for Humanity and the Merrill Food Pantry. Memorial services will be held 5:30 PM Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Christ United Methodist Church, 300 N. Mill St., Merrill, WI. The family requests no flowers be sent. The Waid Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
