Sallie Scarbro, 81, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012.

Funeral: 12:30 p,m. Friday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 4 to 6pm. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Sallie was born in Shreveport LA on August 12, 1931. She retired from National Chemsearch in Irving in February 1997.

Sallie was preceded in death by her second husband, C.D. Scarbro, in June 1996, her son, Alan Cavender in March 2011, and her first husband, Billy Joe Cavender, in August 2012.

Survivors: Son, Clifford Cavender and wife Cathy; daughter-in-law, Pam Cavender; grandson, Brian Cavender; granddaughter, Trisha Cevender Evangelista; great-granddaughter, Adriana Ann Evangelista; sister, Eva Smith of West Virginia; brother, Billy Warden of Coahoma,Texas; and her best friend, Billie Muse of Burleson.
