Sarah J. "Jackie" Cutbirth, 79, of Paris, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 11th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Concluding services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 12th, at Memorial Chapel of Restland Funeral Home in Dallas with burial following in Restland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Cutbirth, the daughter of James Ernest & Henrietta Farris McDade, was born July 14, 1932, in Quitman. She married Percy E. Turner in June of 1951, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 1969. She then married Troy Cutbirth on Sept. 25, 1970, and he preceded her in death on March 15, 1997. Jackie worked many years in retail sales before joining her husband, Troy, in their Mary Kay Cosmetic business where she worked for thirty years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Eagle's Lodge and attended The Cowboy Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jerry Turner, a granddaughter, Ryan Leigh Turner and five siblings.
Survivors include two daughters, Tracie Lindstedt & husband Spencer of Garland and Paris, and Terrie Burnett & fiancé Haskell Henry of Garland, two step-sons, Larry Cutbirth & wife Christine of NM and Tony Cutbirth & wife Sharon of NM, a daughter-in-law, Karen Turner of Paris, grandchildren, Chris Turner of Paris, Whitney Eatherly & husband Ryan of Paris, Lainie BrDecko & husband Cody of Paris, Shane Cutbirth & wife Sandy of NM, Laurel White husband Mike of NM, Jessie Cutbirth of NM and Jodie Cutbirth of NM, numerous great grandchildren, special survivors, James & Mary Potter & their children, Bethany, Kayleigh & Jayme along with many friends, extended family members & her precious dog, Prissy.
Casket bearers will be: James Potter, Ricky Seward, Alan Turner, Dale McDade, Ray DeShazer and John Harwell.
