Timon "Tim" Ray Foster, 54, of Montrose, IA, passed away on Thursday, August 09, 2012 at his home. He was born on October 18, 1957 in Des Moines, IA to Charles and Ruth Henneman Foster. On September 8, 1979 he married Pam Ewing in Lineville, IA. Tim worked in maintenance in the shipping and receiving department at Pinnacle for 17 years. He enjoyed helping his son work on his race car, being with his grandsons, mowing the yard and riding his motorcycle.
Survivors include his wife, Pam of Montrose; a daughter, Amy (Troy) Thacher of Argyle, IA; a son Josh (Jodi) Foster of Ft. Madison; two grandsons, Ike & Moses Thacher of Ft. Madison; his mother, Ruth Foster of Ankeny; a sister, Kristi Porter of Ankeny, IA and a brother, Steve Foster of Kansas City, MO and their children. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call after 2 PM on Friday, August 10, 2012 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM. The funeral service will be at 10 AM on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. John Simpson officiating. Burial will be in Montrose Cemetery.
