Mr. Cagle retired from the Alabama Department of Conservation with over 30 years of service. He served as a Game Warden and Marine Police. He was a Vietnam veteran where he served in the Navy aboard the USS Yorktown and USS Hornet from 1966 – 1970. He was a Special Recovery Technician that assisted in the recovery of the Astronauts aboard the Apollo 11 and 12 Moon Landings.
Mr. Cagle was also a member of the Smith Lake Task Force.
