William Bower Ferguson died Saturday, July 7th, after a prolonged struggle against cancer. He was born in Wichita, KS on July 4th, 1947, the son of Sybil B. Ferguson of Arbor Vitae and William D. Ferguson, deceased. He grew up in Wausau and moved to the Minocqua area as a young man. He is survived by his mother; two brothers, John R. Ferguson of Madison, WI and Robert C. Ferguson of San Diego, CA; two nieces, Jessie B. Ferguson of Berkeley, CA and Kerry Byron of Madison, WI and two nephews, Christopher F. Ferguson and James F. Ferguson, both of San Diego. A private gathering to celebrate his life is planned.
