William was born on May 19, 1930 and passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012.
William was a resident of Rhinelander, Wisconsin at the time of his passing.
Bill attended Tomahawk Rural Elementary Schools and graduated from Tripoli High School in 1948.
He joined the U.S. Army in 1950 and served his country in Korea and Japan from 1951 to 1953.

A memorial gathering in honor of Bill will be held at the Carlson Funeral Home (715-369-1414 / www.carlsonfh.com) beginning at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. An organized time of remembrance will begin at 5 p.m. led by Rev. Robert Messerli.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family would suggest support of a memorial established in Bill's name.
